Mango Lassi (Indian Summer Drink) | Mango Smoothie

Mango lassi is a refreshing creamy yogurt-based Indian drink made using ripe mangoes, yogurt and sugar.
It is a very popluar drink all over the country and is loved by kids and adults.
This is a gluten-free, beginner-friendly beverage recipe that comes together in under just 5 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Mango Puree
  • 1 cup Curd (Yogurt)
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar, adjust according to the swetness of mangoes
  • 5-6 Ice Cubes
For Garnish Per Servings
  • 1/2 teaspoon Almond Flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pistachio Flakes
  • A pinch of saffron strands (optional)

Method
 

  1. In a blender, add yogurt, mango pulp, sugar and ice cubes.
  2. Blend it to a thick, creamy consistency.
  3. Check for the sweetness and adjus accordingly.
  4. Pour the mango lassi into the serving glasses and garnish with almond & pistachio flakes.
  5. Add few saffron strands to enhance the taste (optional)
  6. Serve chilled
